I began my career in IT networking in 2010 and obtained my CCIE in Security in 2011. Throughout my networking journey, I worked in various roles, including pre-sales, network design, implementation, and support. In 2015, I started learning Python and used it to generate baseline configurations for routers, switches, and firewalls.
My interest in web application security grew when I learned about Django and Flask frameworks in 2016. I delved into application security using the OWASP project. In 2017, I joined a startup, where I managed, deployed, and secured their cloud infrastructure. I also tested their web applications for vulnerabilities and provided guidance on fixing them. Additionally, I pursued bug bounties to enhance my application security skills.
Transitioning to a security consultant role in 2018 at a consulting firm, I worked with various clients on infrastructure security, application security, and cloud security projects. I also took charge of endpoint security and vulnerability management initiatives for our clients.
In 2020, I joined a major Canadian telecommunications provider as an analyst on their vulnerability management team. Currently, I am working with a financial consulting firm, contributing to their incident response team, security administration, and security operations.
I love reading technical books. You can find my resume here.
